Parman: (NW1) This is truly one of the finest Parman blades I have ever seen. This was found in the 50's at Fort Rock, Oregon. The Parman blade is Early Archaic, around 10,500 to 9,000 years old. This relic has A Bill Jackson C.O.A.. It's made from a translucent Chalcedony material. When held to the light, you can see a mossy looking interior. This fine artifact is 4 and 13/16ths inches long. That's just 3/16ths shy of 5 inches. There is a lightning streak of quartz vein running through the tip area that almost looks like it was broken and glued. But it is a quartz vein and I will send an extreme close up to anyone who would like to see it. Notice the slightly notched areas on the end of each barb. This was probably to help with hafting and would indicate to me that this is a first stage Parman. SOLD

This Gorget is made from very hard stone material that has layers. These layers gave it the two-tone effect as it was smoothed down. It comes with a C.O.A. from Jackson Galleries. SOLD
